According to a survey by the magazine PC Magazine, which will be published in its May issue, Internet users often use usually the same passwords for all accounts, whether mail or otherwise. Additionally, the publication has made the top 10 most common passwords, to the surprise of many of internet users tend to be more simple than is recommended.
The first place is the very word “password”, since it is the more different people that use them. “123456″ or “qwerty” are other most used on the Web, although none of them meets the minimum safety requirements, as the mixture of letters and numbers, or use a larger number of characters.
It is noteworthy that the word “monkey” (monkey in Spanish) is in sixth place of the expressions used when blocking access to an account.
